History

A Regency-style house at 19 Church Street North, built approximately 1840 and well before Richmond Hill’s incorporation in 1873, has been designated a Cultural Heritage Resource by the Town of Richmond Hill. The house opened in 1997. It is adjacent to a park named for Wright, a prominent local leader, and parliamentarian. The park contains a pavilion, which was built in Wright’s memory.

Kids will learn about different dinosaurs, where they lived, what they ate, and how they became extinct.
